About Me

GM! my name is João and I'm currently working on the most advanced and secure way of bringing BTC to DeFi - with Native.

I've been in the space for 3 years, focused on building mostly in the Bitcoin Ecosystem.

At Native I lead day-to-day biz dev strategies, which includes but not limited to partnerships, gtm, operations, content, community, etc. In general, I believe I'm an instrumental piece in a startup, having already 3+ startup experiences where I had to be resourceful and proactive.

I also consider myself a small degen, with my focus being on Sui, which is the most interesting ecosystem at the moment.

  Joined to lead Biz Dev and Ecosystem. We pivoted from infra to execution and now focus on BYield: bringing seamless Bitcoin yield to every holder, powered by Native and nBTC.

• Rollux: Bitcoin L2 (2023–2024)

  Helped launch Rollux with the Syscoin team. Focused on Ecosystem Growth, BD and strategic partnerships during its foundational phase.

• Syscoin: Bitcoin Merged-Mined Modular L1 (2022–2024)

  Started as a community member. Grew into a full-time role in BD and Partnerships. This was where my crypto journey began.

Notable Endeavors

• (Active) Termini: User-Centric DeFi Trading Platform

  A next-generation multichain DEX, building initially on Somnia, that combines aggregated liquidity, AI-powered trade strategies, and smart liquidity management tools. Termini empowers users to actively manage and grow their portfolios with features like automated risk mitigation, perpetual trading, and a meme token launchpad — transforming decentralized trading into an intelligent wealth-building experience.

• Redacted: Bitcoin PoW Infrastructure Layer

  Explored modular Bitcoin infrastructure with FHE, AI consensus, and drivechains. Redacted aimed to unify liquidity across Bitcoin L2s while recycling hashrate to generate carbon credits and new economic models for miners.

• Redacted: Decentralized Satellite Network

  Designed a space-based blockchain platform leveraging satellites for true randomness, censorship-resistant communications, and on-orbit consensus infrastructure. Started with an RNG SaaS MVP to fund satellite deployment.
